BOSTON – On the eve of Suffolk men's tennis season opener, head coach Scott Blanchard has unveiled that Hasan Esrawi returns to his post as the Rams captain. 

Esrawi is back in blue-and-gold for his fifth season and aims to lead Suffolk to the Commonwealth Coast Conference postseason for the first time in program history. A year ago, the Braintree, Massachusetts, native played exclusively as the Rams ace and was a usual member of the top tandem in doubles play.  

Off the court, the student-athlete studying finance has excelled in the classroom with three ITA Scholar-Athlete awards along with numerous all-conference academic awards.  

Esrawi holds the most experienced racket on an eight-player roster that features three returners and five newcomers.  

Suffolk's 2023 schedule is set to get underway tomorrow, Thursday, March 23 at Saint Joseph (Conn.) at 3:00 p.m.
