BOSTON - The Suffolk men's tennis team snapped a seven-match losing streak and notched its third victory of the year Thursday afternoon as it battled past Curry, 6-3.

In its first time taking the court together this season, the duo of junior Francesco Saia and freshman Chris Parnagian opened up the match with an 8-4 win to give the Rams an early lead.

The Colonels took the second set in doubles action before freshman Rami Esrawi and senior Vincent Le, also pairing together for the first time this year, bounced back to earn an 8-3 victory in the third set of play to put Suffolk up 2-1 at the close of doubles.

The Rams came out on top in four of six sets through singles action with Saia, Parnagian, junior Kevin Clavijo, sophomore Jose Gonzalez and senior Andi Trebicka all recording wins.
