Wheaton Shuts Out Men's Tennis, 9-0

BOSTON - The Suffolk men's tennis team recorded its eighth loss of the 2016 season Tuesday afternoon as the Rams fell 9-0 to Wheaton at the Clark Tennis Courts.

Wheaton opened the match with three 8-1 wins in doubles before going on to sweep the Rams in singles action as well. Freshman Chris Parnagian was the only Ram not shut out in either of his games, putting up 6-2 and 6-3 fights in his set.

The victory marked the Lyons' fifth of the year as they improved to 5-7. 

Suffolk will return to action Thursday afternoon as it travels to Curry to take on the Colonels at 3:30 p.m.
