BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer starts its quest for the 2024 Conference of New England crown Wednesday, Nov. 6 when the second-seeded Rams welcome the third-seeded Golden Bears of Western New England to James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for the semifinal showdown. First kick is set for 7:00 p.m.

SUFFOLK IN THE POSTSEASON
- Suffolk will start its 22nd overall conference appearance, fourth in the CNE, with 18 visits to the GNAC conference tournament.
- The blue-and-gold will play in the league semifinal for the sixth time and the third straight season.
- Suffolk is 2-2-1 in the conference semis and 1-0-1 when playing in the CNE semis.
- The Rams last and second-ever win in the semis came in an upset as the fourth-seeded blue-and-gold defeated top-seeded Endicott, 2-0, in the 2022 CCC Tournament.
- It is the first time in program history that Suffolk will host a conference semifinal.

LAST TIME OUT
Three different Rams scored and Nathan Harlow had a six-save effort to push Suffolk men's soccer past Wentworth, 3-0, Tuesday night at Sweeney Field in the Conference of New England foes respective regular-season finale.

SUFFOLK SCORES
RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk assembled its best conference mark at 6-1-2 since 2016 and brings a 9-6-4 overall record into the semifinal action.
The Rams' 33-goal offense has seen 20 different players provide at least one point. The quartet of four players in Francisco Valck (7g), Luke Blawn (5g, 2a), Diego Pierantozzi (3g, 4a) and Damon Smargon (4g, 2a) have all accumulated double digit points to power Suffolk's scoring.
Nathan Harlow is the go-to keeper for the blue-and-gold. The sophomore sports a 0.95 GAA and .800 save percentage in 16 games played, all starts. He brings in an 8-4-4 ledger with six shutouts.
GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England won three games in a road leading into the postseason to lock up the third seed with a 5-3-1 conference mark. In the quarterfinals, the Golden Bears needed penalty kicks to sneak by sixth-seed Gordon after playing to a double overtime 1-all draw.
Tyler Lewis powers WNE's 33-goal offense with 10 goals and one assist to sit atop the team with 21 points. Keegan Reim has supplied 14 points to the scoring unit with five markers and four helpers.
Braylon Casinghino is the usual goalie for the Golden Bears. He sports a 1.33 GAA and 0.753 save percentage. He is 6-6-3 on the year with a pair of cleansheets.
WE MEET AGAIN
Taj Jensen potted the game winner and Nathan Harlow did not make a mistake in net to anchor Suffolk men's soccer to a 1-0 Conference of New England victory over Western New England Wednesday, Oct. 16 at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

STATS SHOWDOWN
ALL-CNE
Suffolk men's soccer had a program-record seven Rams collected All-CNE status for the second straight season the Conference of New England office unveiled late Friday afternoon.
Jack Phelps and Francisco Valck were named to the first-team, Taj Jensen, Matthew Belluardo, Tommy Handelsman and Nathan Harlow were selected to the second team and Ricardo Feliciani took a spot on the third-team.
The seven all-league honorees tie the most in a single season in the Rams record book with last season.

Nathan Harlow of the Suffolk men's soccer team was selected as Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Player of the Week after shutting out Wentworth in the regular-season finale, the league office announced Monday.
