BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer is back on the friendly pitch of James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, Sept. 24 for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest against Endicott. First kick is set for 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's soccer returned to the win column with a 1-0 victory over Lasell Wednesday night at Taylor Field. The victory wrapped up a three-game road trip for the Rams.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk holds a 4-2-2 overall record and 0-0-1 CCC mark.  

The Rams have 15 goals this season, however, just three in the last three outings. Carter Van Buskirk leads the scoring with team-leading number in goals (3) and points (7). Miguel Varela started the season off hot, has since cooled off, but still remains second on the squad in points with five behind a team-best three assists and one marker. Andrew AwadaTJ Maselek and Brady Sorensen have all found the back of the net three times. 

Xander Balog has played every minute in net. He brings a 1.00 GAA and .784 save percentage into the weekend's action. 

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott (5-2-1, 1-0-0 CCC) rides a three-game win streak into Saturday's action. The Gulls have won three in a row, including their CCC opener against Gordon (2-0).  

Tiago Frazao is one of the biggest offensive threats in the league with 11 points through eight games. The midfielder leads the Gulls in goals scored, four, and is second on the squad in assists, three. Joe Mepham is a consistent contributor to Endicott's scoring with two goals and a team-high five helpers.  

Zach Regulbuto has seen the bulk of action in net. In seven games played, six starts, Regulbuto built a 1.23 GAA and .692 save percentage. Kevin Pelletier, meanwhile, has assembled a 1.33 GAA and .600 save percentage in his pair of appearances, both starts. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk has yet to take down Endicott in the all-time series, 0-3-0.
  • The Gulls have outscored the Rams, 10-2, in the all-time series.
