RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk grabbed a 1-0-0 record on the year behind a 2-1 triumph over Mitchell Thursday.

Brady Sorensen scored the Rams' true goal, while the other was put away thanks to the Mariners. Miguel Varela is the only player in a blue-and-gold jersey to hand out an assist.

Xander Balog picked up the decision in net.

OWLS OUTLOOK
Westfield State carriers a 0-0-1 mark into Saturday's showdown after playing to a 2-2 draw with Albertus Magnus in its season debut Thursday.

The Owls goals came off the boots of Matthew Allen and Coleby Andrade, while Jacoby Authier dished out one helper.

Emilio Mancuso played every minute in net and registered 14 saves in the stalemate.

EYES ON THE GAME

MAKE THE PLEDGE TO BE THERE SATURDAY, SEPT. 10
Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death for college athletes. While athletes have many protective factors in place - community, resources, regular exercise - the pressure to succeed and time constraints can elevate their risk of developing suicidal thoughts. The stressful nature of participating in collegiate athletics, especially now with the added pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic, can significantly affect student-athletes and their mental well-being.

Everyone has a role to play in suicide prevention. Suffolk Athletics is asking all members of Ram Nation – students, alumni, faculty, staff, family and fans – to take a pledge to be there; be there for yourself and others.

On Saturday, Sept. 10, join the Suffolk men's soccer team in making it a mission to be there and bring awareness to suicide prevention.
