BOSTON – Tucker Mee of the Suffolk men's soccer team etched his named into the Rams' record book as the first student-athlete in the program's history to pick up CoSIDA Academic All-District honors as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for his efforts on the pitch and in the classroom, the national organization announced Thursday afternoon.

First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot where CoSIDA members vote for Academic All-America teams within their division. Mee, the first men's soccer player to earn the distinction, becomes the 20th Suffolk student to take home the accolade and the second this year as Jenni-Rose DiCecco represented the women's basketball team on the all-district list. DiCecco was the women's basketball's squad's first-ever honoree as well. Mee is the lone representative of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) on the list as well.
