Men’s Soccer’s Tenacio Competes in Suffolk’s Got Talent

BOSTON – Emilio Tenacio of Suffolk men's soccer participated in the second annual Suffolk's Got Talent as part of Suffolk Weekend.  

The freshman from Hollywood, Florida was one of 10 Rams to make it past the auditions September 25-26 into the live event Friday night at Modern Theater.  

Tenacio played the violin in the show that was put on by the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs with help from Suffolk Performing Arts, UDOT and Ben Sigda of SUTD.  

The judging panel, which included Suffolk alums April Duquette'09 and Morgan Prtichard'16 along with Stewart Herrara, slimmed the competition down to four that including Morgan Torre, Jonah Andersen, Isabelle Olson and Fehr AlMedhar with the audience voting Torre, a baton twirler, Suffolk's Got Talent Champion.  

In addition to competing with the Rams on the pitch, Tenacio will be in the upcoming Dinner Theatre show ENTERPRISE: Deep Space Murder October 17-19 at 7 p.m. at the Samia Center Café.
