BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer is set to welcome Norwich for a GNAC clash Wednesday, Sept. 25 for a 7 p.m. kick-off at East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
In its first road GNAC match of 2019, Suffolk men's soccer fell to Johnson & Wales, 4-1, Saturday afternoon at Scots Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk, who is still in search of its first GNAC win of the season, heads back to the friendly confines of Eastie 1-3-1 overall and 0-2-0 in conference contests after back-to-back defeats. 

Simon Velez Angel's three goals lead the Rams' six-goal offense with Sunjoon Tenorio (two) and Tucker Mee (one) responsible for the others. Assist wise, Emilio Tenacio has set up two shots, while Trevor Murdock and Christian Restrepo both have handed out one.

In net, Tom Bennett is the blue-and-gold's go-to. The sophomore boasts a .741 save percentage and a 1.66 GAA.

CADET CLOSE UP
Norwich holds a 5-1-1 overall record and a 1-0-1 GNAC sleet. The Cadets ride the momentum of a 6-0 triumph over Emmanuel into the midweek match.

Joseph Thongsythavong is the joint top scorer for the GNAC with eight goals to his name, and the leader for the Cadets. Alex Brannan set up five goals for the Cadets, while Matt Bento, Julius Davis, and Amerle Nemeye each have provided two of their own. Thongsythavong has two hat-tricks this season putting him at the top in points with 16 points (8 goals), while Andrew Kolombo (3 goals) and Nemeye (2g, 2a) follow behind with six points apiece.

Robert Wagenseller has been solid in between the pipes for Norwich. He sports an identical team record (5-1-1) in net with a .838 save percentage and a 0.85 GAA.
