BOSTON – The Suffolk men's soccer team concludes its 2018 home schedule Saturday, Oct. 13 when it entertains Anna Maria as part of the fourth annual Rams Fan Fest at East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium. Prior to the 1 p.m. first-kick, Suffolk will honor the playing careers of its four members of the Class of 2019; Jordan Casey, Alex Desaulnier, David Haines, and Joel Shulman.

LAST TIME OUT
Simon Velez Angel's goal would not be enough to fuel a Suffolk men's soccer comeback as Mitchell hung onto its lead to take down the Rams, 2-1, Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has not found the win column in its last seven meetings picking up just one conference point in those outings in a scoreless, double overtime tie to St. Joseph (Conn.). The Rams head into the weekend, its final in front of its home crowd, 2-10-1 on the season and 2-6-1 in conference contests. 

James Fisher and Simon Velez Angel have propelled the Rams' offense as of late. Velez Angel enters the showdown on a three-game goal streak with all three of his season strikes coming over the last three outings. Fisher, meanwhile, has a team-high five goals with two coming in the last three games. Leonardo Acosta adds a spark to the offense as well with eight points to his credit off three marks and a pair of handouts. 

Tom Bennett has defended the pipes for most of the year for Suffolk. The freshman brings in a .703 save percentage and a 2.45 goals-against average. David Haines has also seen time in net for the blue-and-gold and boasts a .673 save percentage and a 3.04 goals-against average.

ABOUT THE AMCATS
Similar to Suffolk, Anna Maria is winless over the last five outings with a scoreless double overtime draw sandwiched between two setbacks that put the AMCATS 2-10-1 on the year and 0-7-1 in league action. 

Nick Lawrence and Ryan Todesco sport identical stat lines for the AMCATS of two goals and one dime to lead the offense. Connor Francis has one goal and one assist while Tanaka Mararike completes Anna Maria's goal scorers with one to his credit. 

Jeffre Donahue has played the majority of action in between the posts for the AMCATs. The sophomore keeper holds a .798 save percentage to go with a 1.96 goals-against average.

• The Suffolk, Anna Maria series dates back to 2011 with the Rams holding a 6-1 lead in the all-time meetings.
• The Rams have picked up back-to-back wins over Anna Maria including a 3-1 decision in Paxton, Massachusetts a year ago.
• Two outings have been decided in shutout fashion with Suffolk owning both victories, a 9-0 win in 2012 and a 4-0 win in 2013.
• Anna Maria's single victory over the blue-and-gold was a 4-1 triumph in 2015.
