CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – To wrap up the regular season road portion of its schedule, Suffolk men's soccer stormed past Lesley, 4-1, Sunday morning at Danehy Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Christian Restrepo and James Fisher led the offensive onslaught for the Rams. Within the first ten minutes of the match, the sophomores lined up to score on two separate occasions. Restrepo displayed some shifty foot-work to assist Fisher for both goals.
Restrepo continued his fine play in the first frame, adding a goal of his own during the 11th minute mark. Jason Castro executed an excellent ball that set-up Restrepo for the scoring chance. At the 39th-minute, Sal Perrotto scored on a penalty shot following a Lesley foul to conclude the scoring for the Rams.
In the second stanza, Lesley stymied Suffolk's offensive unit with fine play from goalkeeper James Webb and defender Ben Heischuber. Webb recorded six saves over the second set of 45 minutes including an excellence diving stop on an indirect free kick from Suffolk.
In the 48th minute, Heischuber eliminated the Suffolk shutout as he put the Lynx on the board with a goal set up by Anthony Vitta. Lesley's second half surge was not enough to overcome the first-half four-goal deficit, resulting in the final 4-1 score in favor of the Rams.
KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS
- Kyle Van Cleef made six saves in net for the Rams.
- Webb finished the outing with an 11-save effort.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Fisher and Restrepo finished with four points apiece to pace Suffolk. Fisher scored a pair of markers, while Restrepo scored one and dished out to assists.
- Perrotto notched two points with Castro racking up one point.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk earned its second-ever win over Lesley and first 2012.
- Fisher scored multiple goals for the second time in his career to match a career high.
- Restrepo produced his fifth multiple-point game this season.
