BOSTON – For the third time this season, Alberto Bittan has been recognized by the conference as the senior grabbed Co-GNAC Corvias Player of the Week honor, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Bittan shares the weekly accolade with Norwich's Jacob Zimmerman. 

Bittan had a three-goal week to help Suffolk to back-to-back wins. Against Emmanuel on Columbus Day he netted the game-winner two minutes into overtime to lift the Rams to a 1-0 victory over the Saints. The senior from Venezula put away two first-half goals to help Suffolk down Anna Maria, 5-1, in the second annual Rams Fan Fest Saturday. 

Overall, Bittan leads the league and team in goals (14) and points (32). He and the Rams are back in action this afternoon at Springfield. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
