BOSTON – After a career day, freshman Jarrett Davis of the Suffolk men's soccer team has beennamed the GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. 

Davis had a hand in 75 percent of Suffolk's four goals at Mount Ida, scoring two and assisting on a third to help the Rams to 4-0 victory over the Mustangs. 

The weekly award marks the first of Davis' career and the fourth for Suffolk this season with Alberto Bittan grabbing two player of the week nods and Kyle Van Cleef grabbing a goalie of the week honor. 

Davis and the Rams are currently in action against Emmanuel and will return to James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, Oct. 15 against Anna Maria. The Ram Fans Fest contest is scheduled for 1 p.m.
