EAST BOSTON – The Suffolk men's soccer team locked up its second straight win in as many games as the Rams routed Regis, 4-2, at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Alberto Bittan sandwiched two first frame goals around a Jordan Casey score to put the Rams ahead 3-0 at the half. Regis put two of its own goals around Bittan's third of the day and 11^th of the year to attempt a comeback, but Suffolk held onto the 4-2 win.

GOALS GALORE

• Just over five minutes play, Casey sent a cross from the corner to Bittan, who used a knee-high one-timer volley to put Suffolk on the scoreboard.
• Less than 10 minutes later, Casey was credited a score. Regis netminder Manny Santiago and Jai Panit had a miscommunication on defense resulting in a 2-0 lead for the Rams.
• Bittan upped his season total to 10 with 30:13 on the clock in the first frame. The senior forward beat the Pride's goalie and walked the ball into the net.
• Regis broke open the scoring in the second stanza. Emiky Pires' throw in bounced around the box, before Chris Szarek used his head to cut Suffolk's lead to two, 3-1.
• Just 28 seconds passed before the Rams edge grew back to three. Bittan sealed his hat trick when the he scored off a cross from Christian Restrepo.
• Regis continued its comeback attempt and made it a two-goal game once again with just over four minutes remaining. Pires' long throw in found Zach Sindoni, who headed his first goal of the season top shelf. 

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

• Kyle Van Cleef turned away two Pride attempts to walk away with his second win of the year.
• Santiago earned the start for Regis and played 67:55 minutes of action. The starting goalie made six saves and allowed three of the Rams' four goals.
• Gabriel Montealegre relieved Santiago in between the pipes to open the second half, but only played 22:05 and was removed to the game from injury. In his time he made three stops and let one ball pass.

NOTEWORTHY

• Bittan is the first Ram to registered two hat tricks in one season since Danny Lloyd matched that number in 2010.
• Suffolk now leads the all-time series 3-2 and has outscored the Pride, 11-10 all-time.
