Suffolk University Men's Soccer junior Christian Gnonlonfoun (Porto-Novo, Benin) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week on Monday.

Gnonlonfoun scored six goals in two games as the Rams opened up the 2012 season with a 3-0 mark.

Gnonlonfoun scored four goals on Saturday in a 9-0 Suffolk victory, while also adding a pair of goals in Suffolk's 4-1 victory over UMass-Boston on Tuesday.

In their opening three games the Suffolk offense has outscored their opponents by a 17-2 margin, with Gnonlonfoun leading the charge with his 6 goals and 12 points.
