BOSTON, Mass. – Suffolk University scored five second half goals including four straight in the final 23 minutes to defeat Emerson College 6-4 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's soccer action at Emerson's Rotch Field.

Emerson led the contest 4-2 following Jacob Lawrence's '13 (Clifton, Va.) third goal of the game, but Danny Lloyd '12 (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) began Suffolk's third comeback of the game just over three minutes later in the 68th minute.  Lloyd lobbed a shot over Emerson goal keeper Noah Price '12 (Apex, N.C.) off an assist from Nick Cugine '12 (Ridgefield, Conn.).  In the 75th minute Lloyd followed an Emerson foul with a free kick from 26 yards that rocketed into the goal just under the cross bar to tie the score at 4-4.

The final two Suffolk goals were off the foot of Jeff Harvey '14 (Reading, Mass.).  The ultimate game winner came off a double assist from Christian Zambrano '14 (Madrid, Spain) who sent in a corner kick, and Luis Flores '11 (Lee, N.H.) who crossed the ball to the left side for Harvey to drive home.  The score in the 75th minute gave the Rams their first lead of the game.

Emerson led the scoring in the 13th minute with Lawrence taking a crossing pass from Eric Dabdoub '11 (Monterrey, Mexico) and finding the center of the net.  In the 19th minute Lloyd blasted a shot off Price that Flores tucked in to the right side of the net to tie the game at 1-1.

The Lions regained the advantage when Mike Giles '11 (Wakefield, R.I.) found net with an unassisted shot to the lower right corner of the Ram's net.  The marker gave Emerson a 2-1 halftime lead.

Lawrence increased the Lion lead to 4-2 when he took a shot from the right side of the restraining box that Suffolk keeper Jack DeJesus '11 (Boston, Mass.) was able to get his hands on, but could not stop, setting the stage for Suffolk.'s third comeback of the game.
