
CANTON, Mass. – The fourth-seeded Suffolk men's ice hockey team fell to top-seed, No. 4 Curry in the Conference of New England (CNE) Semifinals Saturday afternoon at the Canton Ice House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Curry potted a pair of pucks in a 3:48 span early on in the first frame to force Suffolk to play catchup, which it did when Nolan Leonard poured in an unassisted strike at the 18:55 mark to send the Rams into the locker room down 2-1.
Two unanswered goals from Curry in the middle period made it a 4-1 game in the host favor.
The Rams made one last move in the third when Gavin Havens struck on the power play with help from Michael McEachern and Jake Grace to slice the deficit in half with 3:11 left in regulation.
Suffolk managed to get one last shot off in the final three minutes, but Shane SOderwall denied it to seal the season-ending setback fate.
