No. 6 Curry Keeps Men’s Hockey Quiet, 4-0

EAST BOSTON – Suffolk men's hockey could not figure out the Colonels goaltender Shane Soderwall and Suffolk men's hockey was blanked by No. 6 Curry, 4-0, in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Louis E. Porrrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A turnover in the Rams zone turned into an unassisted strike by Curry's Marko Giourof that put the Colonels on the board 14:21 into the contest.  

Curry's offense output in the second matched the period number to put Suffolk in a 3-0 hole with two stanzas in the book.  

Makem Demers put away a power play marker with 4:58 left in regulation for the 4-0 final.  

NETMINDER NOTES

  • CJ Hapward had 35 saves in the setback. 
  • Soderwall registered 29 saves in the shutout.

  • Curry outshot Suffolk, 39-29.
