Five different player scored, a bakers' dozen produced a point and CJ Hapward turned aside all 20 shots he faced to send Suffolk men's hockey to a convincing 5-0 win over Framingham State Tuesday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk closed the cover on its non-conference calendar in convincing fashion as it skated by Framingham State, 5-0, to move to 8-5-2 on the year. The eight victories are the most for the blue-and-gold since 2021-22 when it went 8-13-4. The blue-and-gold is back in CNE action after over a month away. The Rams are 3-4-1 versus CNE counterparts this year.
The Rams offense has poured in 27 goals over 15 games. Scott McManus and Ryan Webb power the scoring unit with seven points on mirrored stat lines. McManus has three goals and four assists to his credit, while Webb has found the back of the net a team-best four times and set-up three strikes. Michael McEachern holds a squad-high five assists to sit third on the squad in points with six.
CJ Hapward is Suffolk's go-to goalie. He has appeared and started all 15 games and has built a 1.48 GAA and .943 save percentage with five shutouts to his credit.
NOR'EASTER NOTES
UNE won the Comfort Inn Winter Classic Jan. 11-12 when it defeated Wilkes, 7-2, and Plattsburg State, 4-2, to improve to 9-5-1 on the year. The Nor'Easters sport a 5-3-0 CNE ledger.
Dominic Murphy holds a 20-point stat line with nine goals and 11 assists. Both Ryan Kuzmich and Drew Olivieri are on the verge of 20 points with 19 apiece. Kuzmich has 11 goals and eight helpers to his credit, while Olivieri sports a six-goal, 13-assist offensive effort.
Stefan Carney (1.96 GAA, .929 save %) and Joey Stanizzi (2.83 GAA, .912 save %) have split time in net for the Nor'Easters. The former has eight games, six starts under his belt, while the latter has started all nien games he has appeared.
WE MEET AGAIN
The University of new England swept Suffolk in the home-and-home series Nov. 22-23. The Nor'Easters tripped up the Rams, 4-1, in Biddeford, Maine, before blanking the blue-and-gold, 3-0, in East Boston.
