BOSTON – Riding momentum off a non-conference NESCAC victory, Suffolk men's hockey skates into its final action of 2024 when it plays Johnson & Wales in a Conference of New England (CNE) home-and-home series Dec. 6-7. The Rams will host the Wildcats Friday at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink before traveling to Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Saturday. Both contests are scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 4-4-2 overall and 1-4-1 in CNE contests. The Rams are unbeaten in back-to-back battles with a 2-2 draw at Colby and a 4-2 triumph over Wesleyan.  

The trio of Gavin Havens (3g, 2a), Scott McManus (2g, 3a) and Ryan Webb (3g, 2a) have all supplied five points to the Rams' 19-goal offense.  

CJ Hapward is the blue-and-gold's go-to goalie with a 2.02 GAA and .925 save percentage in 10 appearances, all starts.  

WILDCAT WAYS
Johnson & Wales bested Westfield State, 3-2, and Assumption, 5-3, Thanksgiving week to bring a 4-4-1 overall record and 2-3-1 CNE record into the weekend with Suffolk. 

Chris Alexander has a team-best eight-point stat line evenly divided between goals (4) and assists (4). Bret Beale (5g, 2a) and Harout Torosian (3g, 4a) have supplied seven points apiece to the Wildcats' 30-goal offense.  

Jake Inzirillo has played the most time in net. In six games played, all starts, he has assembled a 3.30 GAA and .910 save percentage. Maxim Zinchenko has played three games in net and holds a 3.65 GAA and .904 save percentage.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams are off from action until the New Year when it jet sets to Wesley Chapel, Florida for the Tampa College Hockey Invitational. Suffolk starts the two-day tournament Friday, Jan. 3 versus Albertus Magnus at 4:30 p.m. at the AdventHealth Center Ice.
