
CHARLESTOWN – Ryan Harrigan's goal at the midway point of the third period proved to be the difference maker to lift Suffolk men's hockey to a 2-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over Nichols Saturday night at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Harrigan's mark at 10:17 of the third period broke a 1-all tie to and give the blue-and-gold the go-ahead. Jared Newelland Joe Feeney assisted on the eventual game-winner.
The game got going with one mark on either side of the scoreboard in the first period. Alex Kolowrat struck first on the power play. The game-opening goal was assisted by Billy Roche and Samuel Rand.
Nichols leveled the playing field on its own man-up opportunity 5:12 later to lock the game at one apiece.
NETMINDER NOTES
- Cal Wilcox registered 48 saves in the victory.
- Korbinian Lutz stopped 17 shots in the setback.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Harrigan and Kolowrat scored one goal each for Suffolk.
- Feeney, Newell, S. Rand and Roche set up one strike apiece.
