BOSTON – Joe Vingi begins his second term as Suffolk men's hockey captain, head coach Chris Glionna announced with the senior set to rep the 'C' for the 2020-21 season, while juniors Joe Feeney and Billy Roche join the leadership contingent as assistant captains.

The trio unit is the first threesome to lead the Rams as a three-person group since 2015-16 when Shaughn Shields, Tyler Heineman and Connor McCarthy shared the captain title.

A defensemen from Narraganset, Rhode Island, Vingi has seen action in over 70 games, he has compiled a four-goal, nine-assist, 13-point stat line.

Roche joins Vingi on the blue line. The Braintree, Massachusetts, product has accumulated 11 points in two campaigns as an underclassmen including a standout sophomore campaign of three goals and five set-ups over.

Feeney, who hails from Foxboro, Massachusetts, has been a staple in the face-off circle for the Rams. The center has appeared in all, but one game over the last two seasons, and has contributed four markers and nine helpers.

Suffolk's season is still up-in-the-air after the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) cancelled conference competition for the 2020-21 campaign, however, the Rams still have a chance for non-conference contests. Game opponents will be determined on a week-by-week basis.
