HOW IT HAPPENED
Skidmore scored twice in the first frame to build a cushion it never let up.
The Thoroughbreds, who controlled the majority of the action, potted a powerplay puck in the middle stanza to add to their margin and scored twice more in the final frame for the final 5-0 margin.
NETMINDER NOTES
- Cal Wilcox stopped 36 pucks despite the setback result.
- Brandon Kessel scooped up all 21 of Suffok's attempts on target.
