BOSTON – The Suffolk men's hockey team remains on the road as it heads to Fitchburg State Tuesday, Jan. 8 for a 7 p.m. non-conference battle at the Wallace Civic Center.

The Suffolk men's hockey team wrapped up action at the Boston Landing Tournament Saturday afternoon with a 4-2 setback to the tournament hosts Nichols at Warriors Ice Arena.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk heads to Fitchburg Tuesday still in search of its first win in 2019 as the Rams fell in both of its outings at the Boston Landing Tournament to dip to 4-9-0 on the season. 

Mikhail Bryan and Jack Kelly are the most prominent offensive figures for the blue-and-gold's 32-goal offense. Bryan has four goals and 10 handouts for a team-best 14 points. Kelly has split his 12 points evenly between goals and assists. 

Michael Levine is the Rams' main starter. The senior netminder enters the week with a 2.85 GAA and a .912 save percentage.

FALCONS FACTS
Fitchburg State dropped its first action of 2019 as the Falcons fell to UMass Dartmouth 3-2 in overtime to move to 6-4-2 on the season.

Sascha Figi and Nick DiNicola provide a one-two punch for FSU's offense as the sophomore, senior pair have each eclipsed the 20-point mark already this season. Figi holds the top points on the squad with a team-best 14 goals and nine assists, while DiNicola's five markers and 15 handouts combine for second on the squad.

Brian McGrath has played the bulk of action in between the pipes for the Falcons. The sophomore goaltender carries a 2.16 GAA and a .939 save percentage into Tuesday's tilt.

Suffolk turns its attention back to New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action this weekend when it is set for a home-and-home series with Johnson & Wales. The Rams will first welcome the Wildcats to Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink Friday, Jan. 10 for a 7 p.m. puck drop, before the blue-and-gold head to Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the following day, Saturday, Jan. 11 for a 4 p.m. conference clash.
