Levine Named NEHC Goaltender of the Week

BOSTON – After a stand-up performance on opening night, Suffolk men's hockey senior Michael Levine was tabbed the New England Hockey Conference's goaltender of the week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

The accolade comes after Levine backstopped the Rams with 25 saves to earn the 7-0 shutout victory over Franklin Pierce in the season debut Friday night. The Clarendon Hill, Illinois native is the first-ever Suffolk student-athlete to be recognized by the NEHC with a weekly award.
Throughout his career the Rams' goaltender has garnered four weekly awards including three goalie of the honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference last season.

Levine and the Rams are back in action this weekend as they travel to Salem State Saturday, Nov. 3 for a 2 p.m. non-conference clash.
