BOSTON – Suffolk men's hockey head coach Chris Glionna has unveiled that Mikhail Bryan and Sean Henry will don "C" on their jerseys for their final campaigns in blue-and-gold with the seniors sharing the Rams' captain responsibilities. 

Bryan takes his post for the first year, while Henry returns to the role he shared with Jack Jenkins '18 a year ago. 

The two skaters continue a long tradition of Suffolk men's hockey captains dating back to the program's first season of play in 1980-81 when James Tropsa led the blue-and-gold. With the addition of this season's ringleaders, over 60 Rams have worn a letter at Suffolk University in the program's 39-year history. 

Bryan took on a versatile role a year ago, playing as an offensive defender and switching to full-time forward in the latter portion of the 2017-18 slate. The Dayton, Ohio, native was one of two Suffolk skaters to produce over 20 points last year with a team-best 12 goals and eight assists to his credit. Bryan became the first-ever Ram to pick up All-CCC accolades and was instrumental to Suffolk's first berth to the CCC playoffs. 

Henry, meanwhile, has been a mainstay on the blue line since his collegiate debut. Last season he appeared in all, but one of Suffolk's 25 games and set-up three strikes. Throughout his career, the Trumbull, Connecticut, local has accumulated 13 points on 10 handouts and three goals. 

The pair looks to lead Suffolk into a new era as the Rams' transition into New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) play for the first time in program history. 

After a pair of exhibition outings at Becker (Oct. 17) and Framingham State (Oct. 20), Suffolk officially drops the puck on the 2018-19 campaign in front of its home crowd at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink in Charlestown Friday, Oct. 26 against Franklin Pierce at 7 p.m.
