Hockey Gets Fourth Seed in ECAC Northeast Tournament

BOSTON – Suffolk hockey earned the fourth seed in the ECAC Northeast Tournament and will face fifth-seeded Wentworth in the quarterfinal round this weekend. 

Suffolk wrapped up its season Wednesday night with a 5-1 setback to Nichols to finish 13-9-2 overall and 8-6-2 in conference contests.

This is the Rams' third straight ECAC Northeast tournament appearance and their first home game since Suffolk hosted Wentworth as the third seed in the 2008 championship field. That game also marks the last time the Rams and Leopards met in post season action with Suffolk taking down Wentworth, 3-2, in overtime.
