BOSTON – Suffolk hockey looks to waste no time returning to the win column as the Rams take the ice at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Rink Sunday afternoon in a non-conference showdown with the Vikings of Salem State at 1:35 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Johnson & Wales snapped Suffolk's seven-game unbeaten streak Saturday night thanks to Jonathan Ruiz's goal with 4:13 remaining, which proved to be the game-winner, to take a 4-2 ECAC Northeast victory over the Rams Saturday night at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS

•  Suffolk, who opened the season 5-0-2 with a four-game unbeaten streak, was defeated by ECAC Northeast foe Johnson & Wales Saturday to move to 5-1-2 overall. 
• Twenty different skaters have recorded a point for the rams with Justin Selep's nine off a team-high five goals and four assist leading the way. 
• Tyler Heineman and Simon Leahy have been the go-to skaters to set-ups as the defenseman and forward have five helpers to their credit, respectively. 
• In net, Brandon Smolarek has been the go to for Suffolk. The senior goalie owns 234 saves with just 16 goals allowed for a  .936 percentage and 2.33 goals-against average. 

VIEW ON THE VIKINGS

• Salem has split its six contests this season to carry a 3-3 ledger into Sunday's contest. The Vikings have dropped two straight with its last coming in a 1-0 shutout to the University of Southern Maine. 
• Brad Jones is the Vikings' leader in points with one score and five assists for six points. Derek Makimaa and Cam Moniz each have four points on two goals and two handouts, while four different skaters have three each. 
• Jason Pucciarelli and Marcus Zelzer have each seen action in between the pipes. Pucciarelli has turned away 97 shots and allowed nine goals for a .915 percentage and 2-2-0 record. Zelzer, meanwhile, has one shutout to his credit with 60 saves and just three goals allowed for a 1-1-0 mark.
