The Suffolk University Hockey team (0-2) fell in Saturday's consolation game to host Becker College (1-1-1), 3-2 in the Becker College Ice Breaker Tournament.

Senior Niles Moore (Columbus, OH) scored both of the Rams' goals in a losing effort.

Becker jumped out to a 1-0 at 6:38 into the first period as Patrick Bellew tallied his first goal of the season off of a feed from Robert Johnson. The Hawks would go up 2-0 when Trevor Peltak converted on a power play early in the second period.

Suffolk would answer as Moore scored seven minutes later converting on a feed from senior Pat Welch (Dorchester, MA) to cut the lead in half.

Becker's Corey Bellamy scored what turned out to be the game-winner six minutes into the third period off a pass from Jim Ceglarek for his first goal of the season.

Moore and the Rams would not go quietly however as the senior forward put home his second goal of the game scoring with 2:30 left in regulation off of a pass from freshman Matt Robertson (Whitman, MA). The Rams would out shoot the Hawks 17-9 in the final period, and 37-29 in the game.

Becker goaltender Jake Rosenthal made 35 saves to pick up his first win of the season. Junior Ryan Mula (Waltham, MA) made 26 saves in the losing effort for the Rams between the pipes.

Moore, who tallied three goals in Suffolk's two games this weekend was named to the Ice Breaker All-Tournament team.

Suffolk will be back in action on Wednesday evening as they travel to take on Framingham State College in non-league action at 7:20pm.
