Men’s Golf Takes Fourth at CCC Championships

THOMPSON, Conn. – Suffolk men's golf finished fourth at the 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship over the weekend at Raceway Golf Club. 

The Rams, who competed in the conference championship for the third time in as many seasons as a member of the league, put together two-day score of 621 to take fourth in the four-team field. 

Endicott won the team title with a 609 followed by runner-up Nichols (614) and Roger Williams (619) rounded out the top three. 

Individually, Cameron Sinopoli led Suffolk with a two-day card of 153. He shot a 77 on day one and shaved one stroke off that score on Sunday. 

Sinopoli's brother, Christopher Sinopoli claimed a spot in the top-10 as well as he shared ninth with a 155. 

Jake Zirlin and Vijay Sakuru finished one after another in 11th and 12th, respectively. Zirlin was one stroke behind Christopher Sinopoli with a 156, while Sakuru had a 157.  

Adam Romano registered a two-day card of 174 to finish 19th in the 20-golfer field.
