SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

ABOUT THE CCC QUALIFER
The CCC hosted a qualifier for its league-wide outing since 2011-12 when the event was still an invitational. Men's Golf was elevated to championship status in 2013-14 and the CCC was granted an automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament that year.

Last year, the CCC Golf Qualifier was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead all eight teams were invited to compete in a two-day CCC Championship, which was won by Western New England.

This fall will be the first time the Rams compete in the conference's qualifier.

The winner of the event earns the right to host the CCC Championship this spring, which is tentatively on the schedule for April 30 to May 1 and will feature the top four finishers from this Thursday's action.

THE COURSE
Nestled in Southern Maine, Dunegrass Golf Club features challenging fairways with 300-plus acres of greens.

TEE TIMES
Suffolk will be in the first group with Gordon, Wentworth and the University of New England. All teams in group are set for a 10 a.m. start.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has one two-day tournament under its belt this season, the 37th Duke Nelson Invitational, which served as the first and only prep for the upcoming CCC qualifier.

Mauro Stanchieri shined in his collegiate debut with a share of 36th in the 110-golfer field. Veterans James Ventre and Cameron Sinopoli look to help boost the Rams into the top four field to clinch a spot into the conference championship.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's golf got its 2021-22 season going at the 37th Duke Nelson Invitational over the weekend. The Rams rounded out the 22-team field at The Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
