Men’s Golf Secures Second at Endicott Invitational

BEVERLY, Mass. – On its second course of the season, the Suffolk men's golf team finished as the runner-up at the Endicott Invitational Tuesday at the Beverly Golf & Tennis Club.  

The Rams combined for a team card of 334 on the course to finish four strokes ahead of the University of New England (338) and behind the host Gulls of Endicott (304).  

Cameron Sinopoli was the tom individual for Suffolk for the second straight outing. The freshman shot 77 to slid into second-place in the 18-golfer field behind individual medalist Nichols Grimblias of Endicott who shot an exact par of 70 on the 6,276 yardage-course.

Pablo Bedoya Montero was just outside the top five with an 82 to slide into sixth place.  

William Bannon took 12th with a score of 86. James Ventre shared 15th behind an 89-shot outing.  

Liam Nye completed the Rams on the course with a score of 106, good for 18th.   

The invitational served as Suffolk's final tune-up before the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship. The Rams will return to Beverly, Massachusetts, April 25-26 to tee-off for its first CCC crown.
