Men’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Blazers Invitational 

GRANDBY, Mass. – In the midst of its fall slate, the Suffolk men's golf team took to the links at the Hickory Ridge Country Club over the weekend for the Blazers Invitational hosted by Elms. The Rams combined for a team score of 639 after the two-day event to claim fifth in the field of nine.  

Owen Boggini was the top Rams' golfer with a card of 153. He improved his day-one score of 77 with a 76 on the second day of action to share ninth out of 59 individual student-athletes at the annual event.  

Andrew Harper placed 20th with a score of 159, while Elias Sachs was two strokes behind his teammate to share 24th. Demetrois Stamoulis finished the two-day event with a score of 167, good for tie of 34th.  

Brian Dunleavy'172 rounded out the Rams in 42nd.   

Suffolk hits the green again this weekend when it travels to Warwick, Rhode Island to take part in the one-day RIC Invitational hosted by Rhode Island College at the Valley Country Club Friday, Oct. 4.
