Tuesday Tilt Sends Men’s Golf to Saints Invitational


BOSTON – Coming off its season-opening victory, the Suffolk men's golf team looks to remain in the win column as it heads to the Saints Invitational Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park hosted by GNAC counterpart Emmanuel. Tee time is set for 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
In its first competition of the season, all five Rams scored in the 80s or lower to lead the Suffolk men's golf team to the Emmanuel Invitational crown Sept. 12 at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park.

THE COURSE
George Wright Golf Course is a Donald Ross designed public golf course in Hyde Park, Massachusetts that was opened in 1938 after receiving President Roosevelt's Workers Progress Administration (WPA) funding to complete the construction.

THE COMPETITION
Suffolk will take the course alongside Dean, Elms and the hosts, GNAC counterpart Emmanuel.

GNAC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
After his first collegiate competition, Brian Dunleavy of the Suffolk men's golf team was named GNAC Rookie of the Week Sept. 17.
