NORTH HAMPTON, Mass. – Over the weekend, the Suffolk men's golf team took the course in its second Spring series event, the Hampton Inn Collegiate Invite, hosted by UMass Dartmouth at the Allendale Country Club.  

The Rams carded a 665 over the two-day event to finish 14 in the field of 16. Trinity captured the title thanks to a score of 606 with second-place finisher Babson falling just 14 strokes shy with a 620.  

Ethan Abitz paced Suffolk's pack with a score of 163. The sophomore upstaged his day one card of 86 with a day two score of 77 to finish 47th overall.  

Andrew Harper was just two strokes behind Abitz, with a 165. After scoring an 81 on the first day on the course, the sophomore put together a score of 84 on the second day of action.  

Stephen Ferrante placed 67th overall with a 168, while Demetrois Stamoulis was one-point behind, but finished 73rd.  

Daniel Caissie completed Suffolk's competitors with a score of 175.  

Suffolk is back in action in a one-day event, Tuesday, April 17 as the
