Golf Wins Second Match of the Season

The Suffolk University Golf team won their second match of the fall 2013 campaign with an overall team score of 328 at the Emmanuel College Invitational held at William J. Devine Golf Course in Boston.

Senior Joe Surace (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished with the best individual score of the 14 players on the day as he finished with a 74 on the day.

Suffolk outmatched Elms College who had a team of five finish with a team score of 332. Host Emmanuel College had just four players play the 18-hole course.

Suffolk will be back on the greens this weekend as they take part in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship hosted by Johnson & Wales University in Cranston, Rhode Island.
