The Suffolk University Golf team shot a combined 688 to place in 13th this past weekend at the2009 ECAC Division III Men's New England Golf Championships at Tunxis Plantation Country Club in Farmington, CT.
Barrett Beinecke was the Rams top player in the two day event shooting an average of 85. Beinecke shot 82 on day one, and 87 on day two for a top of 169 which placed him at 46. Pat Flaherty finished 53rd with a total of 172, while Chris Gray finished 57th with a total of 175, Mario Massimino was 59th with a total of 176 and Pat Knowles shot 185 to finish 64.
Pat Pio of Nichols College was the top player shooting 146, while Endicott College were tournament champions shooting a combined 609.
Suffolk will be back in action on Friday as they participate in the Rhode Island College Invitational.
