
BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's basketball saw a pair of upperclassmen recognized by the Conference of New England as Keenan Robertson and Danny Yardemian collected All-CNE distinction, the league office announced Thursday afternoon. Robertson received first-team recognition and Yardemian was selected to the third-team.
The Rams earned multiple all-conference accolades for the second straight season and come on the first-ever 20-win season in Suffolk men's basketball's history.
Powered by the twosome of Robertson and Yardemian, the Rams assembled a 20-8 ledger and the third seed in the CNE Tournament its highest finish since joining the league ranks in 2020-21. The blue-and-gold played its way back to the conference championship for the second time in as many years and third time in program history, but fell just short to top seed Western New England, 75-74.
Robertson, a senior that calls Rochester, New York home, led the way for Suffolk on both sides of the hardwood en route to his third consecutive first-team honor. The small forward's conference- and region-best 22.8 points per game. The 13th highest scoring rate in NCAA Division III this season came behind a 56.4 conversion rate from the floor, the third-best in the league. His offensive output was in double figures in all, but one of the blue-and-gold's 28 games with 18 20-point performances six 30-plus point ventures and a monster 43-point showing in the CNE Semifinals at Endicott, Feb. 27. That scoring show is the 15th-best in a single-game in DIII this year.
Defensively, he pulled down team-best 7.4 rebounds per outing, which ranks fourth amongst conference counterparts.
The captain, who became the first Ram to collect multiple league accolades from the CNE (formerly CCC) a year ago, wrote more history with his third first-team nod in as many years making him the first-ever Suffolk student-athlete with a trio of first-team honors on his resume.
On top of his all-conference award, Robertson was named the 2025 CNE Men's Basketball Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after averaging 33.7 points behind a 63.6 shooting percent and six rebounds over the Rams' three-game tournament run.
Yardemian wrapped up his collegiate career with his second third-team award in as many seasons as Suffolk. The floor general once again proved to be one of the most dominant not only in the league, but the region with 4.7 assists per game and a 2.05 assists/turnover ratio, both of which land in the top five in the region. He supplied 13.0 points per game to the Rams' 77.6 ppg offensive on a 49.7 shooting percentage. Defensively, he got in the passing lane with a team-high 1.4 spg and grabbed 5.5 rpg, the second-most rebounds per outing on the Rams roster.
On top of the all-conference honors, senior captain was Cole LeVangie was awarded a spot on the CNE Community Service Team, which recognizes student-athletes on every member institution's squad that demonstrates a commitment to their community.
Suffolk's trophy case has now expanded to eight CNE awards: four first-team, 75 percent of which belong to Robertson, one second-team and three third-team accolades. When combined with the vast GNAC honors, the Rams now have 36 all-league honor including three rookies of the year, 16 first-team, five second-team and 11 third-team selections. Of those honors, 16 have come with Jeff Juron on the sidelines, including six first-team, third second-team and six third-team distinctions and one GNAC Rookie of the Year.
