BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball's chase for the 2025 Conference of New England crown will continue Thursday, Feb. 27 in the semifinals when the third-seeded Rams face second-seed Endicott at 5:30 p.m.

RAMS IN THE POSTSEASON

  • Suffolk is in the midst of its 20th overall postseason trip and 12th straight conference tournament run.
  • The trip is Suffolk's fourth CNE (formerly CCC) Tournament trip.

LAST TIME OUT
The third-seeded Suffolk men's basketball team shot 66.7 percent from 3-point range in the second half to take control of a back-and-forth affair and defeat sixth-seeded Wentworth, 87-78, in the First Round of the Conference of New England (CNE) in front of a sold out crowd at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Tuesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (19-7) stretched its win streak to five behind its 87-78 CNE First Round win over Wentworth.  

Keenan Robertson paces the Rams on both sides of the ball with 21.5 ppg and 7.6 rpg. He also helps set-up the blue-and-gold's 77.0 ppg offense with 2.9 apg to his credit. Danny Yardemian supplies 12.5 ppg and 4.8 apg to the scoring unit. Nick Verdile, a threat from 3-point range, averages 11.5 ppg. Cole LeVangie and Jake Gomez are consistent contributors on the offensive end as well with 9.0 ppg and 8.1 ppg, respectively. The latter also adds depth on the boards with 6.2 rpg, good for second on the squad.  

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott saw its 11-game win streak come to an end in the regular-season finale as it fell at Western New England, 77-61, to move to 18-7 on the year. The Gulls did bypass the first round of the tournament as the second seed.  

Marcus Montagnino is the biggest force for Endicott. He leads the team offensively with 22.1 ppg and 4.5 apg and adds 8.6 rpg to the defensive unit. Elijah Kinney compliments Montagnino with 16.5 ppg and a team-high 8.8 rpg. Jeff Hill adds 10.7 ppg to the Gulls' 84.7 ppg.
