Robertson Tabbed CNE Player of the Week, Again

CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's basketball's Keenan Robertson scooped up Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week following a 32.0 point, 4.0 rebound, 4.0 assist effort in a 2-0 week for the Rams, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Robertson, who earlier became the first-ever Ram in men's basketball history to garner a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, was lights out in Springfield, Massachusetts to get the week underway. The senior guard shot over 50 percent (9-17) from the floor and finished with a game-high 27 points to anchor the blue-and-gold to a 65-64 victory at WNE. The win came after Robertson converted a four-point play with six seconds remaining in regulation.

In the 95-69 triumph against Wentworth on Saturday, Robertson recorded 36 points, one shy of his career high. The offensive output came behind a 76.5 conversion rate (13-17) from the floor and an 8-for-10 connection rate from the charity stripe. Defensively he pulled down four caroms.

The weekly accolade marks Robertson's fourth of the season, the most by a Ram since Brendan Mulson grabbed four Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week nods in 2017-18.

Robertson and the Rams look to close out the regular season on a high note as they take their talents to Hartford Wednesday, Feb. 19 for a 7:30 p.m. CNE contest.
