
MILTON, Mass. – Five Rams poured in double figures to send Suffolk men's basketball past Curry, 83-67, in Conference of New England (CNE) play Saturday afternoon at Katz Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was Curry that took charge first as it put Suffolk in a four-point, 15-11 hole in the first 10 minutes.
The Rams battled back though, and out of a 22-all tie, outscored the Colonels, 20-9 to take a 42-31 lead into halftime.
Suffolk managed to keep Curry at an arm's length throughout the entire second stanza to coast to the 83-67 victory.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Suffolk's offense was well-balanced with its entire starting five in double figures in Keenan Robertson (18), Danny Yardemian (16), Jake Gomez (14), Nick Verdile (14) and Cole LeVangie (12).
- Gomez had a double-double with 13 boards to go with is offensive output. He also dished out five dimes and swatted one shot.
- Robertson added six boards, five helpers, two steals and one block.
- Yardmeian chipped in four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
- Verdile was hot from downtown with a 4-for-9 effort from 3-point range.
- Suffolk outrebounded Curry, 34-26.
- The Rams converted the Colonels' 14 turnovers into 15 points.
- Over half of Suffolk's offense came in the paint with 38 points in the key.
