
BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball returns to action this weekend when it travels to Hartford, Connecticut for the Trinity Holiday Tournament. The Rams get the tourney underway Monday, Dec. 30 versus WPI and will face either SUNY Geneseo or tournament host No. 3 Trinity Tuesday, Dec. 31.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's basketball held on for a 77-73 Conference of New England (CNE) win over Endicott Tuesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium. The Rams were up by as many as 16 before the Gulls made it a game late in the second half. The blue-and-gold managed to hold off the host and grab the victory to remain unbeaten in CNE contests this season.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has rattled off three wins in a row to take a 6-2 overall record into the tournament.
Keenan Robertson has been the main cog offensively and defensively for the Rams as the senior sits atop the team in points and rebounds per game with 22.6 and 8.4, respectively. Danny Yardemian adds 11.0 ppg and dishes out 4.4 assists per game. Nick Verdile is on the verge of scoring double figures with 9.5 ppg to his credit. Jake Gomez adds 6.4 rpg to the team's 38.0 rpg effort.
EYES ON THE ENGINEERS
WPI suffered its first setback of the season Dec. 7 when it fell to Babson, 71-60, to move to 8-1 overall.
Aidan Callahan is an offensive force for the Engineers with 17.4 ppg and 6.0 assists per outing. Tim Reidy and Nicholas Margeston supply 15.2 ppg and 10.6 ppg, respectively.
Defensively, Brett Marelli grabs a team-best 6.4 rpg and Justin Molen chips in 5.4 rpg.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk and WPI will renew a rivalry Monday, meeting for the first time since Dec. 3, 1998.

SUNY Geneseo has traded wins and losses this season to hold a 3-3 overall record. The Knights are coming off a 77-71 win over Hilbert College and will face No. 3 Trinity to kick start the tourney Monday.
Sebastian Pacheco has been the main ingredient on both sides of the ball for Geneseo. He contributes 15.2 ppg 6.2 rpg, 3.5 assists per game and 3.5 steals per game. Josh Garelle is a two-way player as well with 10.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Colin Gentile and Drew Morrow both score 8.8 ppg and Robert Pericolosi leads the way on the glass with 8.0 rpg.
