Robertson Named CNE Player of the Week

CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Keenan Robertson of the Suffolk men's basketball team scooped up Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week honors after leading the Rams to league victory at Endicott last week.

Robertson put together a 32-point, eight-rebound, one-steal effort in the 77-73 Rams' win over the Gulls that kept Suffolk's league ledger unblemished, 3-0. The swing guard from Rochester, New York, shot 11-for-18 from the floor and 9-for-11 from the line to finish with the game-high offensive output.

The 30-point performance was the second of season for Robertson and fifth of his collegiate career, while the 32 points marked a career-high for the senior.

The weekly accolade is the second for Robertson this season as he was named CNE Player of the Week Nov. 18. He is the first player to garner multiple weekly awards in a single-season in the CNE (formerly CCC) tenure and first since Brendan Mulson grabbed four Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week nods in 2017-18.

Robertson and the Rams are idle for finals and the holidays and pick things back up at the Trinity Holiday Tournament Dec. 30-31. Suffolk starts the tourney against WPI Monday at 7:30 p.m.
