Men’s Basketball Sees Three Pick Up NABC Honors Court

NABC RELEASE | NABC HONORS COURT 

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A trio of Rams from the Suffolk men's basketball team were recognized National Association Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court in Aidan SullivanJohn Gates and Kaelen Kanealey, the national organization announced. 

The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2022-23 year with a cumulative 3.2 or higher.  

Seniors Gates and Sullivan repeated as honorees, while graduate student Kanealey received his first recognition as a Ram. 

Suffolk is one of two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) programs represented on the 2022-23 list as five Leopards from Wentworth took home the feat as well.   

NABC Has been honoring student-athletes academic achievements with the Honor Court since the 2006-07 season. Suffolk's first nods came in 2008-09. Since Jeff Juron took over the program in 2015-16, 16 Rams have combined for 23 NABC Honor Court awards. Overall, the blue-and-gold has seen 18 student-athletes grab 25 NABC Honor Court accolades.
