Robertson Named All-CCC First-Team

CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Keenan Robertson of the Suffolk men's basketball team registered an all-conference nod from the Commonwealth Coast Conference as the sophomore secured a spot on the All-CCC First-Team, the league office announced Tuesday.

Robertson paced the Rams offense and defense through its 25-game regular-season slate with 19.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game en route to an 11-7 league ledger and the fifth spot in the CCC tournament. His 19-plus point offensive output is the fourth-best amongst his conference counterparts, while his 46.9 conversion rate from the floor sits 15th. The small forward from Rochester, New York, rewrote his career highs in every statistical category including points, surpassing the 30-point plateau twice. The two-way player also logged a pair of double-doubles.

The conference accolade is the first of Robertson's career. He is the second Suffolk student-athlete to take home first-team honors from the CCC as Nate Hale earned the feat a year ago.

Robertson and the Rams' season came to an end in the CCC Quarterfinals when the fourth-seeded Leopards of Wentworth upstaged the blue-and-gold, 72-60

Suffolk's trophy case now features three of CCC awards: two first-team and one third-team accolades. When combined with the vast Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) honors, the Rams now have earned 30 all-league honors including three rookies of the year, 13 first-team, five second-team and nine third-team selections. Of those honorees, a third (10) have come with Jeff Juron on the sidelines including a trio of first-, second- and third-team distinctions and one GNAC Rookie of the Year, Brendan Mulson in 2017-18.
