LAST TIME OUT
John Gates pull-up, mid-range, baseline jumper beat the horn to push Suffolk men's basketball to an 86-84 victory over Gordon Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The Rams overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to set-up Gates' heroics.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Since John Gates put on the hero hat and sunk a last-minute jumper to push Suffolk men's basketball over Gordon, the 12-4 Rams, who are 7-3 in the CCC, were sidelined due to a blizzard-filled weekend.

Suffolk's offense pours in 87.1 ppg with its entire starting five averaging double figures in Nate Hale (19.4), Aidan Sullivan (12.4), Keenan Robertson (11.1), William Rowe (11.1) and Gates (10.9).

Defensively, the Rams narrowly outrebound their opponents with 37.4 team rebounds. Robertson's 7.3 rpg leads the way with Rowe pitching in 6.4 rpg.

LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth fell to Salve Regina Monday, 70-48, to move to 6-11 on the season and 3-8 in CCC games.

Trey Carrier is the leader on both ends of the hardwood with 17.9 ppg and 9.5 rpg. Kevin Fernandez provides 13.9 ppg to the Leopards' 69.2 ppg offense, while Jack Schaake adds 6.1 rpg on the glass.
