BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball returns to the friendly confines of Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Saturday, Jan. 15 for a showdown with Endicott at 3 p.m.

UPDATED FAN POLICY
With the health and well-being of students and staff remaining the highest priority, effective immediately, spectators will not be permitted at Suffolk University Athletics home contests through the end of January 2022. At that time, the spectator policy will be reevaluated. 

The change in the spectator policy comes as a precaution against the increase in COVID cases throughout the city, state and region.  

The spectator policy applies to on-campus venues including, but not limited to, Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, home of Suffolk basketball, as well as off-campus locations in the men's ice hockey home rink, Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink, and the women's hockey arena, Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

LAST TIME OUT
All 13 Rams contributed multiple points to help Suffolk men's basketball to a 93-61 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over Curry Wednesday night at Katz Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk captured its 10th victory of the season, a 93-61 victory at Curry, to head into Saturday 10-2 on the year and 5-1 in CCC play.  

The Rams have one of the most potent offenses in NCAA Division there as their 89.7 points per outing production ranks 12th. That is heavily behind the best showing from 3-point land in the country, converting 41.5 percent of its triples attempted.  

Nate Hale is one of the main components to the threatening offense as the graduate student's 19.2 ppg paces five players average double figures. Aidan Sullivan's 12.3 ppg is good for second on the squad with William Rowe's 11.9 ppg is good for third on the team. John Gates' 11.8 ppg comes predominantly from 3-point range as the junior is one of the sharpest shooters in the country. His 48.4 conversion rate from downtown is the ninth-best in DIII. Keenan Robertson rounds out Suffolk's players in double figures, which also makes up the Rams' starting five, with 10.0 ppg. 

Defensively, Rowe's 7.2 rpg leads the charge with Robertson supplying 6.7 to the blue-and-gold's 39.4 rpg. 

GET TO THE KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott has coupled back-to-back wins together including a 95-63 win at Curry Jan. 8 to head into Saturday's showdown 6-3 on the year and 3-1 in CCC action.  

A trio of players pace the Gulls 78.7 ppg offense in Jalen Echevarria (18.6), Billy Aresenault (13.3) and Cameron Ray (11.6). Dillon Grant is also a threat on the offensive end with 9.6 ppg. 

Aresenault is Endicott's biggest weapon on the glass with 5.2 rpg to lead the team's 35.0 rpg effort. Stephen Fama pulls down 4.4 rpg with Mark Barrett and Grant in the conversation on the boards as well with 3.8 rpg and 3.6 rpg, respectively. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Suffolk, Endicott series is fairly new, starting in 2018-19. 
• The Rams fell in the first-ever meeting, 85-62, Nov. 17, 2018. 
• Suffolk and Endicott split the home-and-home series a year ago. 
• The Rams are no 1-2 all-time against the Gulls. 
• Suffolk is unbeaten, 1-0, versus Endicott in Boston, 0-1 on the road and neutral sites.
