NABC RELEASE

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Suffolk men's basketball rising seniors Conor Creane and William Rowe each earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for academic excellence, the national organization released Tuesday afternoon.

To be eligible for the distinction, a student-athlete must be either a junior or senior academically, have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher and matriculated at least one year at their current institution.

Creane and Rowe are both first time honorees of the academic accolade.

Suffolk is just one of two programs from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) represented on the list of 2020-21 honorees with seven Seahawks from Salve Regina joining Creane and Rowe with the distinction. For a full list of honorees, click here.

NABC has been honoring student-athletes for academic achievements with the Honor Court since the 2006-07 season. Suffolk's first nods came with a pair of nods in 2008-09. Since Jeff Juron took over the program in 2015-16, 13 Rams have combined for 17 NABC Honor Court awards. Overall, the blue-and-gold has seen 15 student-athletes grab 19 NABC Honor Court nods.
