BOSTON – After having last weekend canceled, Suffolk men's basketball will take the hardwood two more times in 2020-21 with a home-and-home series against Gordon. The Rams entertain the Fighting Scots Wednesday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m., before heading to Wenham, Massachusetts, the following day, Thursday, March 25 for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's basketball poured in the points with five different Rams in double figures to take down Curry, 105-53, Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The win moves the blue-and-gold to 5-1 on the year, which marks the best record through six games since the 1977-78 season.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk rides into the weekend off back-to-back that put the Rams at 5-1 on the year, its best record in six games since the 1977-78 season.
The blue-and-gold's 100.0 ppg offense, which is the second-best scoring in NCAA Division III this season, is powered by the Rams three seniors, who are responsible for 59.3 percent of the offensive output. Alex Jacovides (22.3) and Nate Hale (22.0) average 20-plus points, while Brendan Mulson adds 15.2 ppg.
Three of the four top scoring threats are the big men on the glass for the blue-and-gold as well. Jacovides 7.8 rpg paces Suffolk's 42.8 rpg. Rowe records 7.5 rpg and Mulson rounds out the threesome with 7.3 rpg of his own.

Through six games this season, Suffolk sits in the top five in the NCAA Division III in multiple statistical categories as a squad.

Individually, Aidan Sullivan is fourth in the nation in assist/turnover ratio with a 3.75 clip, while Nate Hale's 4.00 treys per game is the eighth-most amongst NCAA DIII counterparts.
FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
After opening the season with three straight wins, Gordon has gone 1-2 in its last three outings to carry a 4-2 record into the week.
The Fighting Scots 86.7 ppg offensive output is powered by Garrett Sattazahn's 17.7 ppg. Michael Makieji provides 13.3 ppg and Justin Yu's 10.3 ppg completes the trifecta in double figure scoring. Makiej and Parker Omsaler each grab 7.7 rpg to lead Gordon's glass effort. Sattazahn is in the mix of rebounding leaders as well with 7.0 caroms per outing.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- The Suffolk, Gordon rivalry is one of the oldest in the Rams' record books, dating back to the 1967-78 season.
- The Rams and Fighting Scots met every year from 1967-82 and once again on November 16, 1990. That was the foes last meeting, which Gordon won, 72-68.
- Suffolk is 10-6 all-time versus the Fighting Scots, but looks for its first win in the series wince a 76-76 triumph Feb. 3, 1983.
- Prior to 1977, the location of the contest between the Rams and Fighting Scots is unknown. In those meetings and in the 1981 battle, Suffolk is 5-5.
- As the home team, the blue-and-gold holds an unblemished 2-0 record.
- When playing on the road, the Rams are 3-0 against the Fighting Scots.
