BOSTON – One of the most powerful offenses in NCAA Division III basketball is back in action this weekend as Suffolk men's basketball is set for a home-and-home series with Curry. The Rams' action gets underway at the Colonels home Friday, March 12 at 6 p.m. The teams will then meet at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Saturday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The finale of a home-and-home series between Suffolk and Endicott men's basketball came down to the wire. Both teams overcame double figure deficits through the game and ultimately the Gulls gained momentum at the right time to take a 95-91 decision over the Rams Sunday afternoon at MacDonald Gym.

SUFFOLK SCORES
Missed any of Suffolk's action last weekend against Endicott. Here is your chance to catch some highlights. 

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk brings a 3-1 record into the weekend after rattling off three wins in a row to lift the lid on its abbreviated season. 

The Rams boasts one of the most powerful offenses in the country, pouring in 100.0 ppg as a team. Seniors Alex Jacovides (24.0 ppg), Nate Hale (22.3 ppg) and Brendan Mulson (16.3 ppg) power the output with two of the three averaging 20-plus points. 

Jacovides and Mulson are also the main ingredients to the Rams' 40.3 rpg. Jacovides is just shy of averaging a double-double with 9.3 rpg to his credit with Mulson providing 6.8 rpg.

RAMS RANKS
Through four games this season, Suffolk sits in the top five in the NCAA Division III in multiple statistically categories as a squad.

CATCH-UP WITH THE COLONELS
Curry fell to Gordon in a pair of opening-weekend tilts to head into the weekend 0-2.

Joshua Vargas paces the Colonels on both ends of the hardwood with a double-double effort of 11.5 ppg and 12.0 rpg. Angelo Sardegna adds 14.0 ppg to Curry's 65.0 ppg offense with Jayquan Leonard chipping in 10.0 ppg as well. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Rams and Curry renew a rivalry, meeting for the first time since 1998-99.
• Suffolk leads the all-time series 28-7.
• The Rams have won two in a row against the Colonels including the last meeting, 79-77.
• Suffolk and Curry will clash for the first time in the Jeff Juron era.
• In Boston, Suffolk is 9-5 against Curry.
• As the away team, the Rams hold a 9-2 record against the Colonels.
• The blue-and-gold is 1-1 at a neutral site when playing Curry.
• The first nine battles were at an unknown site and Suffolk won each of these outings.
• Suffolk and Curry has needed extra time to decide a winner on three occasions. The Rams are 1-2 in such contests with the lone OT win over the Colonels coming by a 93-92 decision in the 1997-98 season.
